Warner to Host Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar

HARRISBURG – Rep. Ryan Warner (R-Fayette) is encouraging area senior citizens to take advantage of an opportunity to revamp their driving skills and earn a discount on their auto insurance by participating in a Seniors for Safe Driving Seminar.

The seminar will be held on Friday, May 8, from 1-5 p.m. at the Connellsville Senior Center, 100 E. Fayette St., Connellsville.

During the seminar, a safe driving instructor will discuss communicating with drivers, risk management, airbags, sharing the road, road signs, signals, pavement markings and more. All seniors 55 and older who attend the seminar will receive a certificate for a minimum of 5% off their auto insurance for three years.

The cost to attend is $17 per student. RSVPs are requested by Monday, May 4, either by calling Warner’s office at 724-437-1105 or signing up online at RepWarner.com/Events.
